At the annual Conseil économique du Nouveau-Brunswick banquet, the Business of the Year award was presented to ECO Technologies, a member of ASDR, for its leadership, sustainable innovation and outstanding contribution to the economy of the province of New Brunswick.
People know ECO Technologies most for its famous “frog” – an amphibious excavator that breaks up the ice in the bay in the spring, allowing fishermen to return to sea, and also breaks the ice to prevent flooding.
But ECO Technologies is much more than that.
Hydraulic and mechanical dredging in mining, industrial, and marine environments, environmental rehabilitation, shoreline stabilization, bridge repair assistance, and more.
We have much to be proud of: the company has tripled its revenues in the last three years and maintains more than 50 jobs!
