Our Executive Team

Stephen Authier is a seasoned manager and entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience in the mining, forestry and industrial sectors. He started his career at Agnico Eagle, and then participated in the construction of one of the largest mining projects of the 90s, the Louvicourt mine in Abitibi-Témiscamingue.

After having acquired this experience early in his career, he became co-owner of the engineering firm Léandre Gervais & Associé(e)s, which was sold to Genivar in 2005. Under this new entity, he worked as Director of the mechanical, structural, site management and training departments.

In 2006, while looking to take on newer and bigger challenges, he founded ASDR Canada Inc. Throughout his career, Stephen has developed an expertise in engineering, allowing him to offer turnkey projects tailored to the needs of his clients. Innovation, resilience, collaboration and ethics are the values that are at the heart of his approach.

From the very start, he has worked tirelessly to grow the company from 5 to more than 300 employees. Under his leadership, ASDR has been consistently listed among the 300 largest SMEs in Québec, and is recognized as a leader in mining services and technological innovation.

Dan Misiano combines over 12 years of experience in project management. He joined ASDR as a project manager, before also holding the positions of deputy director and director of operations for the company’s water treatment division.

It is ultimately his professional skills, his experience, his previous achievements and his vision for the company that allow him to stand out and be promoted to Vice President of Operations in 2023.

His expertise in operations management, his ability to work effectively in a team, as well as his strong work ethic contribute greatly to the success of our organization and make Dan a cornerstone of ASDR’s development.

Marc Turcotte has 25 years of experience in business management, personnel supervision and water treatment. He has played a key role in building the Water Treatment centre of excellence. He has also managed several large-scale, mine water treatment plant projects (involving design, manufacturing, installation and operation) for clients such as Newmont, Goldcorp, Yamana Gold, Agnico Eagle, and many others. With a strong focus on technology development and innovation, he has led the development and commercialization of new technologies such as ECOMUD^TM.

As a former firefighter by training, he greatly values the health and safety of all of ASDR’s projects. Dedicated to community involvement, he has been an officer for the municipality of Rivière-Héva for over 15 years.

Sébastien Morin is a Manager with over 20 years of experience in the engineering consulting industry and has been a member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec since 1999. In addition to his management skills, he has acquired a solid expertise as an Engineer in the field of Power Electricity and Industrial Automation. His extensive technical knowledge leads him to be frequently solicited by his peers.

Mr. Morin has been actively involved in the management and design of several large-scale industrial projects, predominantly for the mining sector. With his experience in design and site progress monitoring, Mr. Morin has to ability to lead his team to the realization of integrated projects oriented towards the needs of ASDR’s clients.

Marco Rebuli is a transformational leader with over 25 years of diversified experience in business development, strategy, marketing, complex service offerings and major account management. His experience was primarily gained with a multinational engineering firm, where he worked for over 20 years and held senior management positions at the corporate level and in various divisions, executing resources-based projects.

His mandate at ASDR involves implementing creative and innovative strategies, maintaining business relationships with our clients and launching new products. Most importantly, he aims to build ASDR’s brand awareness to ensure the company’s growth and profitability. He played a key role in signing the Pamour project for Newmont, Ontario in 2020, a flagship project for ASDR. Marco holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from McGill University.

Annick Lafrenière is the company’s controller and has more than 25 years of experience in accounting, internal control, finance, budget planning and team management. At ASDR, she wears two strategic hats, overseeing the Human Resources and Finance teams. She ensures that all initiatives are aligned with the company’s business plan. She is also the guardian of internal policies and compliance with applicable standards and laws.

Prior to joining ASDR, she held the position of Finance Superintendent at IAMGOLD for more than 10 years. She also worked as an accounting analyst for Cambior Inc. and IAMGOLD. Annick holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT). She is also a member of the Order of Certified Professional Accountants of Quebec (CPA).

Pascal Lemieux has 15 years of experience in the field of health and safety.  At ASDR, Pascal acts as a leader to implement a strong health and safety culture. He has also built a specialized team to deliver health and safety services to our clients.

He has also led the implementation of digital 4.0 technologies to  drive health and safety innovation, delivering increased productivity and performance for our clients during shutdown work. His diverse experience allows him to understand project challenges at all levels.

Pascal holds an Attestation of Collegial Studies (AEC) in Civil Engineering Inspection and Control from the Cégep de Saint-Félicien. He has also completed numerous training courses in first aid, construction, fixed machinery mechanics and as an industrial firefighter. He began his career as an operator and mechanic for the pulp and paper company Domtar. He then worked for an engineering firm as a supervisor, health and safety prevention program head and trainer.

Josée DeGrandpré has more than 20 years of experience in procurement and logistics. Prior to joining ASDR, she worked for 12 years at the Canadian Malartic Mine and held various positions including Senior Buyer and Warehouse Coordinator. One of her biggest accomplishments was setting up the supply chain for the largest open pit gold mine in Canada.

Josée has formal training in business management, human resources, and health and safety, mainly acquired in the mining sector. Her vast procurement experience and in personnel management skills are great assets to ASDR.

Patrice has been with ASDR since 2022 and has more than 20 years of experience as a leader, manager and representative.

As Director of Sales, Patrice is responsible for supervising and managing our sales team, developing effective sales strategies and achieving our growth objectives. His passion for excellence and his ability to motivate others are valuable assets to the ASDR team, which take our Sales division to new heights.

His expertise in performance management, his in-depth market knowledge and his ability to develop strong relationships with clients are also essential assets for our company.

Jonathan Gendron-Cloutier has been with ASDR since 2014. First as Vice-President of the Manufacturing division, he then moved to the position of Director of Operations for the Industrial Services division in 2018. In 2023, he is Ultimately promoted to the position of director of the Industrial Services division.

Jonathan has more than 20 years of experience as a leader, supervisor and project manager. He is the central pillar of ASDR’s Industrial Services division. The various responsibilities assigned to him over these years have allowed him to demonstrate and develop great qualities as a leader and communicator.
