Diana Audet is a senior process engineer in ASDR’s Water Treatment center of excellence. She joined the company in 2018 after several years at the engineering consulting firm SNC-Lavalin, in the Mining and Metallurgy division. During her career, she held various strategic positions that allowed her to be involved in all phases of a project: studies, detailed design, construction, commissioning, and optimization. She benefits from an excellent overview of our client’s challenges and deliverables.
With 20 years of experience in the industry, she has worked for international clients including Glencore, ArcelorMittal, IAMGOLD, Newmont, and Canadian Royalties. She has expertise in various types of water treatment processes (HDS, Fenton, ammonia stripping, MBBR, and ozonation). Her key achievements at ASDR include her involvement in the following projects:
• Rosebel gold mine for IAMGOLD
• Pamour pit and Merian gold mine for Newmont
The Merian mine project involved managing the construction and commissioning of a water treatment plant in Suriname. Diana holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sherbrooke. She pursued her studies at Polytechnique Montreal to continue her specialization in water treatment.
